Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the agreement between you ("Client") and Susan Jones ("Coach/Mentor," "we," or "us"), a sole trader based in the UK. By purchasing any service from us, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.


1. Parties and Agreement

a. These Terms, along with our Privacy Policy, form the entire agreement between you and us.

b. The contract begins when you purchase a product or service (e.g., The SHARE Project, My Time to Thrive, Burnout to Balance, digital products) and accept these Terms during checkout.

c. Acceptance is indicated by checking the box agreeing to our Terms and Privacy Policy during the online checkout process.

d. Once your purchase is completed, any cancellations or postponements will be governed by these Terms.


2. Services

  • The scope, structure, and timetable for our services are detailed on suejoneswellbeing.co.uk.
  • Fees for each service are set out on our website and during the checkout process.
  • Coaching/mentoring services are designed to support your goals, but your progress depends on your participation and commitment. If you do not complete the work or attend scheduled sessions, this may impact your outcomes.

3. Basis of Agreement

a. Cancellation Rights: As a consumer, you may have the right to cancel this agreement within 14 days under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. However, if services are provided within this period or digital materials are downloaded, you must pay for what you have received. After the 14-day period, all fees are non-refundable.

b. Responsibility: You are solely responsible for your physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing, as well as any decisions, actions, or outcomes resulting from the coaching/mentoring process.

c. Not Therapy: Coaching/mentoring is not a substitute for medical or therapeutic treatment. If required, you should consult qualified professionals.

d. Coach/Mentor: Services are provided by Susan Jones.

e. Insurance: We carry professional indemnity insurance for the services we provide.


4. Delivery of Services

a. We will use reasonable efforts to provide services as scheduled. If unforeseen circumstances (e.g., illness or emergencies) prevent us from delivering services, we will notify you and arrange an alternative date or substitute Coach/Mentor, where possible.

b. If you are late or fail to attend a session, the session will still end at the scheduled time, and no refund will be provided.

c. Substitutions for participants in 1:1 coaching/mentoring sessions or group sessions/webinars/workshops are not permitted unless agreed in advance.


5. Fees and Payments

a. All fees are listed in pounds sterling and payable as specified on our website.

b. Payment is due at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed (e.g. third-party payment by an organisation).

c. For services paid in instalments, you are responsible for completing all payments. Missed instalments may result in termination of access to services, and any remaining balance will become immediately due.


6. Ownership and Use of Materials

a. All materials provided during sessions or as part of our services are our intellectual property. You may use these materials for personal development purposes only and must not distribute or share them without our written consent.

b. Recording or photographing sessions is not allowed unless explicitly agreed in advance.


7. Group Sessions

a. Group sessions operate under confidentiality. Participants must respect each other’s privacy and maintain a supportive, non-judgmental environment.

b. Breaching group confidentiality or disrupting sessions may result in removal without a refund.


8. Confidentiality and Data Protection

a. We will handle your personal data according to our Privacy Policy.

b. Confidential information shared during coaching sessions will only be used to provide services or where required by law, insurance, or professional obligations.

c. Feedback collected via Google Forms will be reported to the organisation that funded your place (if applicable).

d. Feedback collected via Google Forms for marketing purposes will be anonymised unless you consent to your identity being associated with it.


9. Liability

a. Force Majeure: We are not liable for service disruptions caused by events beyond our control (e.g., illness, natural disasters).

b. Limitations: Our liability for any claims relating to services is capped at the fees paid by you for those services.

c. No Guarantees: Coaching/mentoring outcomes depend on your effort and participation; no guarantees are made regarding specific results.


10. Termination

a. Either party may terminate the agreement for valid reasons. Fees already paid will not be refunded except as required by law.

b. Termination does not affect rights and obligations accrued prior to termination, including confidentiality and intellectual property.


11. Definitions and Governing Law

a. Definitions:

  • "Services" refer to coaching/mentoring, workshops, or any offerings purchased by you.
  • "Confidential Information" includes any private information shared during sessions, except where it is publicly available or shared with consent.
  • "Materials" refer to documents, videos, or other resources provided during coaching/mentoring and other products.
  • b. These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
